Passion. It’s the one thing that drives everything I do (yes, I include a passion for financial-stability in that.) Whether that’s a 14-hour day running around capturing scenes at the presidential inauguration, or lugging around experiential decor myself because it’s just too important, I love what I do.
I spent most of my time at the University of Maryland working as the Photo Editor of the presitigous Diamondback newspaper. I could often be found skipping classes to take photos because the assignments were just too cool to pass up, and the experience was life-changing. It’s not that I was a bad student, it’s just that I was a better photographer - or at least that’s what I tell myself.
After graduating, I went to work with the incredible folks over at Exactly Agency (née Brightest Young Things) where I cut my teeth in the world of events and experiential design. Teaming up with some incredible institutions, I worked on crafting incredible activations for the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Heineken, Hilton, REI, Comcast NBCUniversal and more.
Once the pandemic decided that in-person experiences were a no-go, I shifted my focus to online media - co-hosting a successful video game streaming channel, and production managing events for a cause over at Blue Star Families.
